GeeTee
My young fella has his gold fish tank and everything is fine with it,but it has in the last couple of weeks got an algae that is a very nice green and grows in little tuftsup to 5mm long. Just wondering what sort of algae this is and how to stop it? Everyone in the house has been instucted not to let direct sunlight on the tank, so too much light should not be a problem. Caper
GeeTee, does your son have algae eaters in the tank. Just curious, I have to ottos in mine and they do a great job. The only thing they don't get rid of is a brown (was looking on that site, good site Polegra )...um...which I'm thinking is algae. It is only noticable on one ornament and every once in a while I clean if off with a soft toothbrush.
