Snowman
Hi Caper, personally i wouldn't have to many so they can all get a bit of algae, if it was me i would have 4-6, could have less which would give them more algae per fish or more if your feeding them. I like the Ottopus bit
Caper
Hi all...I know this is an old post...but rather than start a new one. To refresh, I have (1) 10 gallon & (2) 29 gallons tanks. My goldies' tank have 3 ottos in with them. Neither of the other 2 have any since I haven't been able to purchase them for an extremely long time. Well, I asked about them a couple of weeks ago and they finally got some in. Here is my problem. I wanted to have at least 4 in each of the 29 gallons and 2 in my 10 gallon....sound reasonable??? Found an old post here plus searching the net and the general consensus seems to be 1/5 gallon???? Anyway, in order to get these guys I had to buy the 6 tonight. They are all in my 10 gallon with the 3 cory's. I added an airstone. But what is the minimum I can keep them all in the small tank???? Plus any other suggestions please Oh by the way, I almost had a heart attack when I went to add more tank water to the bag, one of the ottos was right out of the water Three died Caper
