suphew
Does any one know if they are reef safe? and how fast they grow, I know I would have to go to a bigger tank at some stage (damn it  ) but would like a year or two before having to worry? Have looked on the net but I couldn't find anywhere that says they aren't reef safe. I also have a purple tang in the tank is this likely to be a problem? lduncan
Nope not reef safe. Will usually pick like most large angels. Plus there are many nicer looking angels than them. Layton

SteveA
In theory none of the angels are reef safe. In practice, most of the dwarfs are mostly reef safe as is the Regal. By mostly, I mean that they are more often than not reef safe (I have never had a dwarf that wasn't) but some have been known to not be so. It might also depend on what you have in your reef that they might like and how hungry they get. I could say don't expect to maintain a healthy collection of sponges with a Regal (again in theory) but I look after a tank with a bicolour and a coral beauty plus a healthy selection of sponges which they ignore.
