llama boy
Hi all My baby swords hav out grown the breeding trap and i was wondering if they would be OK in the main tan, i've got lots of plant cover, but would they be quick enough to escape the parents and a siamese fighter? Thanks scotty
Snowman
How big are they, i have about 200 guppies and swords in a 4 ft tank and never use breeding traps, they have plants for cover and in my opinion if the parents are fed well they wont eat the young, mine get fed twice a day. livebearer_breeder
The secret for keeping alot of livebearers in the same tank is just that, have alot of livebearers, then majority of the fry is never noticed as the bigger fish are always interested in each other, plus good feeding. If the babies are bigger than the biggest fish in the tanks mouth and as you say there is plant cover then there shouldnt be much problem.
