G'day All,

My name is Greg and I am from NSW Australia.

I stumbled across your www one day looking for info on my sons new fishtank.Just needed some idea on maintenance mainly but found a whole lot more.

We got him a AQUA ONE 126(22 litre) great little unit no trouble in the first month anyway.

I've always been a fish lover so am now inspired to build my own tank for a bit of fun.The tank is done, building a stand and hood and looking to get it all going in a few weeks, so I am now looking for info for myself.

I am after filter sizes, heater size(tropical obviously) and any other info I need to get me on the right track.

The tank is 80cm x40cm x40cm approx 120 litres.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It will be a community tank but don't know yet what I will stock it with so any input there as well greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Greg

Hi GeeTee and welcome

I agree this is a great site and very helpful. At the moment several members are away at the annual conference but will be back soon. There are tons of people who will be able to answer your questions but I'm still an newbie too.

Cheers

Jude
