KiwiGal77
Just after people's tips on how to keep fish alive when moving? I have a 150L tank with approx 25 small fish. Would I best to just take majority of water out and leave them in there, or try to catch and bag all of the fish?
SanityChelle
It's probably much better to catch them and bag them, or put them in a 60L plastic container from the Warehouse or something with tank water in for the trip. That way you can empty the tank itself (you don't want anything in it while moving, as it won't be supported well). Keep your filter media wet, and the filter going up until the last minute, even just in a bucket of tank water, and set it up as soon as possible on the other side as well. That way, you will avoid losing your good bacteria in the media.
jamosfish
You should get yourself a bucket with a lid. to move and hold them in. That way you can place a heater in there and an air pump until your ready to put them back
