TbarTerror
Well it was only a couple of weeks ago I had a convict and a jack dempsey giving spawning an attempt and causing chaos in my tank. With the convicts now re homed there was a brief moment of peace in my tank until I noticed on the weekend another hook up attempt with what seems to be two females a t bar and a Nicaragua cichlid. The t bar has laid visible eggs under a slate and these two definite females are guarding ferociously. I just can't believe my luck with these crazy hook ups lol. My question is if I move my female tbar into a 200 litre with a male t bar is there a possibility they would get together and spawn or would they fight and try to kill each other.? As some cichlids must grow up together in order to pair off.
calculator
The only way to know is to try. You could put a divider in the tank to get them used to each other before introducing them, and have a number of hiding places to reduce the chance of one of them gettign beaten to death.
