cracker
Ok...is any of you guys with sumps doing anything about your red Hair algae or just leaving it? My sump lighting runs 24/7, so am pretty sure this is the reason why.

Pies
No one really knows what causes cyno, but all the usual things must be considered: * Inadiquite skimming * Inadiquite water flow * Poor water conditions * Too much c02 (from Calcium Reactors) * Low KH * Over stocking / Over feeding * Inaproproiate lighting (old bulbs, wrong kelvins) I had it with my old tank but don't have it in my new tank. not sure what caused it to dissapear but it just slowly went away. Some have been doing 'anitred' etc, no experance with it myself. Pies
