smidey Posted December 2, 2013 Report Share Posted December 2, 2013 i hope you consider getting a top quality heater to replace it as your far more likely to not have the same issue over again if you do. I know the jager's have a fuse type wire that if they do stick on for what ever reason it burns out so it isn't likely that they will ever cook your fish. I know if a heater was to fail i'd rather it failed off than on as i'll notice of the tank is getting cool when i feed and the fish can handle that better than high temps.
