Howsie
My tank at the moment has a substrate of daltons aquatic mix capped generously capped with jbl manado. Will Corys be alright on this stuff? I am wanting to add a little bit of sand in the future but this may be a while to come. Thanks
SamH
Manado is fairly light. It won't hurt the corys because it's fairly round but I'd be worried about them stirring up the aquatic mix.
Howsie
Cool thanks. Im not worrying too much about them getting to the aquatic mix, the manado is about 4cm at its shallowest. I'm more worried about my bristlenose digging under the driftwood and stiring up the substrate. Thanks. Just as a side note what kind of cories do you think I should go for. Would like to attempt breeding but am after a good looking fish for the most part.
SamH
It depends on money and availablity really. Corydoras julii are very pretty put their price tag is quite high!
