aquaflora
Hi everbody, I'm new to the forum so please bear with me as I attempt to explain my enquiry. I have recently pruchased a few Pseudotropheus interruptus (aka Melanochromis elastodema or brevis, so I am told). The female died shortly after I introduced them to their new enviroment. They were in a 900 x 450 x 450 tank on their own (3 fish). I have asked around a number of reputable fish shops and they all tell me that some years ago these were imported into the South Island, but have not heard of them since. I would like to attempt to breed them, but only if I can obtain some females of the species. Any information would be of great assistance. nudge
Sorry can"t be of much help to you, haven't dealt with these guys before. Are these similar to the tropheops?
FaustRegal
I don't know much about cichlids in general, but I hope you have some luck finding females, they look awesome!
