Scarletmonuka
got driftwood in a bath outside being waterlogged.. naturally its become covered in algae.. is this type of green algae gonna harm my fish if i put the wood in the tank as is? or are my plec's gonna go mental over it? easy enough to clean it off the wood but i don't see the point if its a good food sorce. cheers
Sophia
I didn't think algae harmed fish but the others will know. Do you have a photo of it?

randomsam1001
I'd say your plecos will eat it.. My bristle nose ate all of the algae on my driftwood. :sage:
trinox
i have done the same as you, had my wood outside and it grew some sort of green algae, after placing it in the tank it was gone within a few days from the plecs eating it.
