Coketech
Has anyone tried DIY supplements like Randy's 2 part? http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php This recipe consists of: Calcium Chloride Baking Soda (Baked or not) Epsom Salts Magnesium Chloride Has anyone found sources of Calcium Chloride and Magnesium Chloride? I have found a good source of Kalkwasser aka Calcium Hydroxide Taylors Lime (In the south Island) and McDonalds lime in the north island Taylors lime is used by a large soft drink manufacturer to increase calcium levels in soft drinks, so we know its 100% food safe! The main impurity is Magnesium Hydroxide which is barely soluble, the second impurity is quatrz, which of course is insoluble. Taylors lime is sold in Christchurch in 20kg bags in garden centres, Garden Makers has it for $17.90 Im buying a bag of it, if anyone wants some please pm me
