Keeping cichlids and guppies together

It could be OK but then again they could all be eaten.

I have put guppies in a mixed full grown cichlid tank before for live food and they lived for months, a few went missing though. In the end I took them out because they weren't being eaten. But my cichlids weren't raised eating live fish as a food so they didn't know they could eat them.

But every fish are different.

IMO try it if you aren't worried about losing a few guppies. They might eventually realize they can eat them when they get bigger. If they can fit them in their mouth it will be eaten. It looks funny having a tail sticking out of a fish's mouth :sml2:
