CodKing
I've been reading through many a heater post here and it would seem most agree Jager are top notch. I have been looking at the Fluval E series as it would blend in well to my background. Am I trying to split hairs choosing between these two brands? Mirio
I've used Jagers, always seem to be reliable, might not blend in as well as a Fluval, but overall I support the product. Never tried Fluval, but they're a fairly reputable brand too. Could be much of a muchness, but If I remember correctly Jagers have a 3yr Warranty? CodKing
Cool, thanks. Just read that E series have a 5 year warranty and Jager is 3 years. Although, neither company seems to state this on their website!?
Mirio
Might be much of a muchness then. Both are reputable brands and if something does go wrong they each have a decent warranty
Sophia
I had an Eheim/Jager that unwound inside within a few months of use and burnt itself, at the time a couple of people had had the same thing happen. I had the receipt and box though so I easily got a refund and the replacement seems fine. I also have a number of jebos and an aqua one and don't have any problems with those either.
