morf Posted January 31, 2005 Report Share Posted January 31, 2005 I have a juwel tank which comes with a T8 lighting unit I hear you can replace this with the acadia T5 units anyone done so and f so is there much difference? are there many T5 light tube types? chimera Posted January 31, 2005 Report Share Posted January 31, 2005 T5 lamps are slightly shorter than T8 lamps and therefore cannot be used as replacements for the larger lamps.
