Squirt
Hi Today I bought a new tank. Dimensions are 36x36x36cm and it is a triangle shape so base is 36x36x50ish. It worked out to be 23L approx. It has a filter with no sponge, so pretty much just a small power head. I could rip it out and put an eheim in but there's not much point. I would like to go tropical on this tank with some plants. I quote liked Sophias tank but... Ideas so far Dwarf corydoras :nilly: Killies Albino guppies (possibly breed) Danios (maybe give another go at breeding them) Or maybe some tetras. Sand substrate or I have some java moss or marbles for breeding danios. I'd love to give it another go at breeding something, maybe. I am just looking for suggestions at the moment. Thanks Matt
Sophia
Triangle tank sounds interesting. Could do something minimal and geometric looking with rocks and have a few middle dwellers, or a fighter perhaps. Or could try bunching all the plants in the back corner, could create an interesting perspective. I think you'd have to play with the ideas a bit, for me it would be more about getting the scape right and then choose the fish to go with it. Killies would be ok if you had a pair but with plants they'd breed and then you'd have to find somewhere for the fry or you'd have too many fish/aggression for the space. You could have multiple males without a female and they won't argue as much.
