Insect Direct
Just curious if melted snow is all good to use for fish/water changes etc as, it is melting, it is filling my rain water tank. Also the snow seeems to have brought down some pollen, from pine trees maybe?... should be ok for water changes eh?
ryanjury
Yeah should be fine, as long as its not the yellow snow. And pollen sounds pretty natural and harmless it is probably in your rain water most the time anyway.

Insect Direct
Sweet, no mellow yellow in my tank thanks  Have about 500 litres from last night. Will do some tests later, last week it had a trace of ammonia, but there was bird droppings in the spouting, which i have since scrubbed clean. Unless it was the pollen :dunno:
