smidey
what are the dimensions of the tank? the foot print will determine if giraffes are able to be kept in that.
SuPeRmAn
Tank dimensions are L:1200 H:600 W:450 Thanks
smidey
the giraffes will get way to large for a tank that size & IME way too aggro at around 4 to 5" in length for a tank that size. It is a good size for africans like e yellows & peacocks along with the dems & maybe some shellies or lump heads would give it a good range of species. I had success with cobalt & red zebras in a tank that size but that is a bit hit & miss with their aggression.
ryanjury
Yeah long term the giraffes wouldn't be suitable, they aren't particularly aggressive though and would be fine for a few years, I spawned mine in a 170L 4ft tank until they reached 15cm and needed a bit more room.. So if you did choose them you would need to rehome them or upgrade tank in the future.. Dems/yellows/peacocks and smaller haps (electra/empresses/taiwan reefs/azuzures/electric blues) would probably be a good mix.
