TeamJ
Hi, I had 6 happy green tiger barbs, 3 died because of problem with my tank, which is all sorted now. I got 3 more and after a while I noticed the little ones where picking on one of the bigger ones, so I thought I better get a few more to stop the aggression so added 5 more and now all the new small ones are picking on all three big ones, is it because the are bigger so are different? they are in a big tank with some lemon tetras and rosy barbs, they ignore all the other fish, the aggression is just towards the bigger tiger barbs, any ideas? MarkLB
It could be natural male/female interaction or sorting out the hierarchy. If no damage is being done I wouldn't worry too much about it.
