ally07
My convicts have recently become parents, which was always expected, but it's not exactly feasible to remove the fry from the tank due to tank size/ hiding spaces/ lack of fry tank. Anyway, I'm OK with leaving them in, but my question is, what happens next? Will this batch of fry grow out and start eating their future siblings or will the bottom of my tank be filled with feeder convicts? To be honest, I'm quite surprised that the parents didn't eat any of the fry (to my knowledge).
cichlidman2010
Its always different to be honest. Parents may eat/attack them as they grow larger, or they may get on with them and eat their siblings. They could also breed themselves and eat their own young. However it works out, youre gonna have one heck of a tankful of convicts
