Fruju
Epic concert, Jay-Z was off the chain, U2 was absolutely insane, if they ever come back I am so game 8) Great that they did a massive tribute to the miners, Vertigo, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Beautiful day were some of the highlights. Saw Beyonce, Jay-Z performed some sick hits like 99 problems and On To The Next One + Empire state of Mind - aw man! I had a sweet night! Stephanie
Oh really? You liked it? Did you go last time? That was so good! Everyone has their own opinion, so I mean no harm here, but I thought it was terrible. Like mind blowingly so after seeing them last time. Bono has in my humble opinion, lost his mojo. Interested to see what everyone else thought. I've always been a big U2 fan too...
Zev
I thought some of the sounds were off on some songs, especially the Edge. From where we were sitting - west stand section 2 - it was uncomfortably loud. We saw the Vertigo Tour in Melbourne and we were not left with the partial deafness and ringing in our ears as we have this time. Staging and effects were good, as always when you have a hell of a lot of money to throw at them. Enjoyed the animations by Run Wrake. Fruju
1st time seeing them, talked to some of the people in our box (we were to Northern stand?) and they said they thought this concert was better. I saw THE WHO last year, and I thought this concert was waaay better, very entertaining, fav song would have to be Vertigo -went off. Bono has in my humble opinion, lost his mojo. Interested to see what everyone else thought. how so? looked quite confident. I thought some of the sounds were off on some songs, especially the Edge. The effects were awesome! loved the stage and the canopy = epic. I thought the volume was ok, a couple of times I couldn't make out what he was singing. I thought Jay-Z was super, really enjoyed his perfermonce too.

Stephanie
how so? looked quite confident. His voice was all over the place, he couldn't hit the high notes. When he sung Amazing Grace I almost wanted to run out of the stadium to get away from the horrible noise in my ears. Second night he sounded ever so slightly better, but I'm super glad I didn't buy tickets. Last time they were great and that's how i'd like to remember them.
