Allister_B
i just set up a new 3ft tank, and had this great piece of driftwood that was 2nd hand from buying another tank. Put it in and now i notice it has a tiny layer of a white/grey mold looking film all over it. Does anyone know what this is? is it dangerous? can it be fixed? thanks. Stephanie
If you can't fix it we can go for more beach walks with my Jackhuahua and collect more.
Allister_B
im not going for another 10km hike in dense sand without plenty of v and a quad bike for the return trip thankyou!
Zev
It should go away by itself after the tank settles, wait until it grows on the suction cups on your heater - especially if it is an AquaOne
Bilbo
I don’t know what it is but it seems harmless enough. Bristlenoses eat it or it will disappear in a week or two by itself.
Allister_B
i was told to use primafix the fungus treatment for fish to see if that helps. i treated the tank the last 2 days and its slowly going away.
