Carlos & Siran
Weekend off, and raining so checked out sky on demand and saw Invictus, I was very inspired by the story it's self, I've always respected Mendela and all he stands for.... But.... now I'm not a huge sports fan, and I have a very limited understanding of our national sport, I haven't followed the All blacks for a number of years but in 95 I watched every game we played in the world cup, and I just feel the All blacks were badly portrayed in the movie, the actors were a motley looking bunch and the Haka was terrible. They also made us look like a one man team.....sure Jonah was incredible, but so was Jeff Wilson, Zinzan, Josh Kronfeild and all the rest. There was also no mention of the food poisoning at all. I understand that this isn't a movie about the All blacks, it's how a man united his country using their love of rugby, but still, it erks me a bit. Any other views?
