Caldwell
Hi I have a community tank and some of the cockatudes have been breeding but no broods have survived. I was doing some reading on overseas websites and they mention that tetra's will tend to be very attractive to fry and will no doubt demolish a brood. Anyone heard of this in NZ? Thanks. ryanjury
Tetras are pretty good at zipping in and eating a few tiny apisto babies at times, as are most fish.. If you want some to survive then best to put them in their own tank, or remove all other fish after they have laid, either that or the parents are eating them.. Caldwell
Hmm might be time to move the tetra's on. Only one type and that's neons that I used to cycle the tank. Thanks.
