Does anyone know the correct term?

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knew the correct term for the attachment that re-directs the water output of most overhead filters?

I'm pretty sure it's called a Diffuser of some sort, but searches on the internet don't return anything promising.

All i was wondering was if someone knew where i could obtain one of these attachments, as the current downward uncontrolled flow is creating a crater in my fine substrate.

Would be a great deal of help, thanks

Overhead filter as in, a hang on the back filter? What sort of tank do you have Ethanyo? Maybe we can tell you more after more details 8)

Similar to that, if not exactly the same. It's just the downward flow creates craters, and yeah, i prefer not to put a rock there if possible.

Oh that is what your talking about :)

Sorry if i didn't make it clear enough! But yeah, Bunnings eh, i'll have to take a trip to see what they have. Because yeah, those attachments on more of the modern Filters like that look so slick, but i'm pretty sure they won't sell those seperately -.- .
