maoripho3nix
Was flicking through TM last night and found these Trout Pellets. Are they OK to feed fish with, even though it says it in the description. I thought I would get some info/comments about them before buying. Thanks
ryanjury
I use something similar for my fish but it is for salmon, there are so many different versions of these trout pellets it is difficult to find out if they are any good or not. If your fish eat them then I guess they will be good for something different. The disadvantages of the ones I use are. (I cannot guarantee these ones will be the same) They smell really fishy and make the fishroom stink and any tanks start to smell after a while. They are very messy in the tank with heavy feeding they can turn the water brown, over feeding they foul the tank very fast. Some fish take a while to get used to eating them as most are used to eating flake from day dot. Overall they are a good food but have their associated risks as with everything when you try and save some $$'s.
