I have 6 clown loaches which I noticed 2 weeks ago have hole like markings all over the bodys, I have been treating them in a hospital tank for the past 2 weeks with Malform, it has decreased but doesn't appear to be going away, and they aren't eating in this tank as it's alot smaller then their 4FT tank. Other then that it doesn't really seem to be worrying them they aren't flashing around or trying to scratch on stones or anything.

Any suggestions on what it may be??

have you got any pictures ? in another thread i posted with my severums it looks like he has hole in the head - and slowly it appears to be disappearing i have been using AquaDur found on the website http://www.petmart.co.nz it increases the hardness of the water and from what i can tell maybe 2 or 3 of the holes shown in the below thread are going if not gone already

I ended up getting the KH and GH tests and my readings were quite low - thats when i used the aquadur to up the levels - its been about 5 weeks since i started with the aquadur and im fairly sure the biggest hole that was behind the eye of my Severum has started healing up as its not as noticable as it has been and of the 3 that were on the face only 1 is left.

i upped the GH and KH by 1 or 2 degrees and that so far has helped
