Free kittens

are they real torties and real boys? Not gingery brown tabbies? What breed? Male torties are rare, don't know what the chances are but it must be one in thousands.

I know one main coon breeder had a tortie boy, but he died before they could test breed him to see what he produced.

Looked like torties colours to me.

Will ask If I can put my friends name on here and her breeders name.

Right well that lead to a two hour phone call about cats and breeding

First off she is not a Registered breeder. (I honestly thought she was)

The male she sold is 4 months old now so she is not sure if he can have kittens yet.

The other males she sold where tortoiseshell colours

but the Gene pool was not 100 percent (Not to sure what she meant by that). ?

She mates her female light tabby with her black male stud cat.

Sometimes she gets the odd kitten that comes out a tortie abyssioias (sp)

Other then that she gets tortoiseshell females and maybe once in every 4 liters she will get a male, Only once did she get the big liter of the males.

I believe if you are not a Registered breeder and your lines are not 100 percent sure then they are Mutts.

And yes I told her that.
