caroldaisy3
...for the last few days have been chasing each other around the tank. I do not know if this is a breeding ritual or what. I do not know how to tell which is a male and which is a female also. :-? Can anyone shed some light on this odd behaviour please. :-? :-? SamH
Okay first of all, how many are in the tank. Just the two? Secondly, is one nipping the other or are they sort of dancing and shimmying? The female should be rounder and possibly larger.
caroldaisy3
Sorry about delay in replying - visitors arrived then got tea. To answer your question...There are three golden tiger barbs in the tgank, 4 neons, 3 tiger barbs, 1 algae eater and 3 swords. They are not nipping each other chasing each other around. One is quite pale and the other has a bright coloured nose and stronger coloured stripes.
