aquadude
Today I bought a aquaone mini floating tank I know that it can just float around in the tank, but it comes with the two suction cups so that this trap is secured to the aquarium - lol yeah right - not "sticking" so had to use a small stationary bull dog clip to clip it to the glass side. I know that I could have bought the breeding trap with the lip that hooks over the edge of the tank but not paying $26.00 for it so this alternative securing system will have to do. SamH
Did you wet the suction cups and are the under water? You can pick up some cheap ones from dollar stores and modify them for your use. BTW, You can make "Battering Rocks my world your signature so you don't have to write it every time. twinkles
you can get alot of things from the hardware store, which is lucky for us since there's no lfs here. I've bought airline, suction cups and ones with hooks on them, gravel, pots and light tubes from there.
Scottie841
If you are creative you can get a 4 foot light hood for under $130 with 2 t5 bulbs that plants love. They had the light fitting on special for about $60 the other week and we got some paint, timber and wood shelving brackets so we now have a light hood that doubles as a shelf on top of the tank for your food and stuff. Also their irrigation section has everything you need to make any filter pipe you will ever want. The small irrigation hose is the same size as air tubing but black so it hides better in the tank
