HaNs
They are harmless and a result of over feeding

BikBok
I noticed they all disappeared after using prazi in the tank too! Not sure why I was getting them in the Hexy tank though.. I feed the betta pellets or bloodworms, one at a time and he eats them before they hit the bottom. The only other fish in the tank (baby black whiptail) gets 1/2 sinking or shrimp pellet every other day and the betta gobbles up most of that too. Weekly or fortnightly gravel vacuum but I still get them from time to time.
Simian
I get them in the floating plants in my 1st stage fry growout tanks, I power feed hence my over abundance of planaria and snails, but lotsa water changes keep the water all good
