Mr McFish
Today i got 2 bronze corys done a large water change and it looks like there breeding but I doubt it because I only just put em in. The male is chasing the female and running his barbels against her body then they dash off slow down and do it again then the female will rub her head against his belly then she darts off and hides. Is this normal behaivour? because I doubt they are spawning
ryanjury
Sounds like it could be courting type behaviour or them just deciding who is boss/playing.. Do you think you have a male and female? (view from above females will look alot fatter and generally be bigger than males).

acara
The fat ones the female, the male is slimmer.Often they are triggered into spawning by being moved around, and of course with a big water change.A couple of years back on a fish buying trip to England,I got a pair of C.oiapoquensis at an auction,on the long trip home,we stopped at a lads house to look at a group of L46 he was selling and as the corys had been bagged for an estimated 24hrs,we opened them up to rebag, the smell nearly knocked us over.20hrs later I got them home, and the next day had eggs. How they survived, never mind spawned, was amazing.I've had spawnings in similar circumstances too. We didnt get that group of L46 by the way, they weren't great.

lmsmith
If they're new parents or are unsure of their surroundings, they often eat them straight after they lay.
