Fruju Posted December 20, 2008 Report Share Posted December 20, 2008 Hey guys, i can get the occaisional banded kokopu, koura and inganga at the local fish store, but i haven't been able to find any bullies especially interested in the redfin. DOes anyone know a store in Auckland/Northshore or a breeder who sells them? Ianab Posted December 20, 2008 Report Share Posted December 20, 2008 Best way to get some Bullies is to wander down to a local creek after dark with a torch and net. The smaller ones (3-5cm) are best as they seem to adapt to tank life better. You dont need a license to catch and eat an eel, so I dont thing you need one to bring it home and put it in a tank either. You may be thinking about commercial fishing or farming which probably have all sorts of paperwork and fees.
