Silvia-15
added a clown loach and 2 hoplo catfish to deal with the worm and gunk pile up (only took one night and both problem solved) noticed the more aggressive of my 2 borneo tigers showing alot of interest in the clown... maybe it thinks its another borneo, u know, with the whole orangy stripe thing going on. i mean, is it safe for the loach? because if the borneo attacks its pretty much dead meat. is it something to worry about? David R
It could be, how big is the loach? I haven't seen any of my dats having a go at the loaches, so I would have though that if the loach is big enough to not look like food it would be alright. Maybe not... HaNs
Chuck some feeders in and the tiger want see it as a threat if it does go for them?
HummingBird
I wouldn't risk it myself, I know my Dat will try and fit anything in it's mouth, even if it's far too big for it to actually eat. The danger, I'm thinking, is from the clown loach's set of retractable spikes - if the Dat did try and make a go of it he'd get a set of piercings he didn't ask for, which might be fatal for both involved.
