evil_elmo
Hi I have two adult bell frogs living outside in a tank. They have recently started to not eat as willingly as they used to. I am guessing its because they are starting to hibernate due to the weather starting to get cold here in Christchurch. Does anyone know if I still need to feed them during winter? Any help will be appreciated~!
repto
you appear to have answered your own question? They will go into hibernation and do nothing but sleep, the lack of interest in food is natural and they will empty their stomachs and shut down into a suspended state, low heartbeat, respiration etc etc.do not muck around with them just provide the right conditions and let nature do the rest.
