ryanjury
Any chance of a pic? White spot is only spec's the size of a grain of table salt very small I would doubt you would get a concentrated line of them from top to bottom of a fish.. Anna_&_Chris
il get a pic when il get a camera although i doubt that you will be able to see anything on it as ive got a bad camera and when the pic is up close it makes it extremely blurry, it looks like he was scratching there and the lil gils(? whatever its caled in english that stuff that coveres the fish) came off or coming off. ye athat what it looks like to me.. he is scratching on the rocks ALOT and shaking his head like hes trying to shake it off.. still eats 100% though so shouldnt be feeling too bad. but that hie scratching is driving me crazy ,fish is not calm and happy, im not calm and happy!
ryanjury
If he has a scratch it should heal up, if your worried I usually chuck salt into the tank (not too much) this can help heal the wound or make them feel a little better, you could qtine him but its probably not need if he's eating etc.. ryanjury
That is a very big article and good info on white spot But have you ever seen white spot gather in one place on one fish from the top to the bottom of the fish? I'm not sure its whitespot, also from keeping africans I haven't seen much white spot at all on them.
MarkLB
I'm not sure it's whitespot either but the article has a good pic of a Clown Loach with a good infestation. Does your fish look like its been sprinkled with salt??
Anna_&_Chris
nah , i looked closer today and its just the gils came off. so its not actually that. but hes still flashing , scratching himself on the rocks... so it must be that hes itchy.. but what can be a cause?
