Ant N
I picked up some Ice Blue Zebras yesterday, came home tonight and found one bobbing around on his side. Swollen up and struggling to swim right way up. Is this a swim bladder problem ? , and could it pass on to other fish? How do I treat? ryanjury
Was this fish beaten up at all? I have kept alot of africans and haven't seen any with swim bladder problems so I dont think its that common in them.. Im not sure though maybe ive just been lucky. Does it sound like this? http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/malawi_bloat.php Bloat causes swelling and can cause swimming problems. Ant N
Dont think its bloat. May be stress as the ballooning belly is gone. Individual is keeping to itself now, maybe sub-dominant male being a bit soft.
