imsweet
I have never had platies before but swapped some fish and got given 4 females and 1 male. The male is huge, 4-5cm and the females are only 2cm with 1 at 1.5cm. The smallest and 2 of the other females have in the last 2 days gotten really huge bellies. Like theyre about to burst... Huge. The threads i have read all indicate preggers but none of them have a gravid spot. Although some of the pics i have seen look similar. They are in my community tank with guppys and greedy gouramis. imsweet
thanks for that, i have some java moss in the tank tied to drift wood that the baby gups take refuge in. i'll just keep an eye on them. The largest girl i was worried about looked like a guppy i had that died from dropsy. Xept this girl hasnt got the pine-cone look.
