sorcha
Not sure if this is the right place to post but I am trying to raise the pH in my tank, have heard tufa rock is good for this & light, anyone know where you can get it from? Have also been using limestone, oyster shell, coral sand, our tap water is very acidic which doesn't help! Any advice appreciated.

Foxglove
From wikipedia: Tufa is the name for an unusual geological form of calcite rock. Tufa is a rough, thick, rock-like calcium carbonate deposit that forms by precipitation from bodies of water with a high dissolved calcium content. Tufa is not to be confused with tuff which is volcanic. Basically the same as limestone formed like stalagmites!
