Darrell Quadling
Yes you read it correct…I set up a small tank for my grandkids that included..guppies..danios..swordtails & two albono corys..all with plants ..and ornaments ( blue shark..no fishing ) well all went well except the guppies died so after getting more and them also gong to fish heaven I did daily water changes but the corys started to go blue on the head and then it spread, all obviously internal…I now have them isolated trying to work out how to get the poor corys back to normal..my conclucion as to why is the blue color on the shark ornament matched the blue on the fish and it rubbed off easily.. they had been licking or taking it in from the bottom of the tank ??? ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRICIATED ESPECIALY ON HOW TO ‘ DETOX ‘ THE POOR THINGS.
Caper
Sorry no help! Other than the blue on the cory's, are they showing any signs of illness?? I'd keep up with the water changes for sure. Would it be too late for you take the ornament back to the store? I would just want them to know what has happened. But then I would also want to email the company that made it to tell them and ask them what should be done for the poor fishies  But wow, I thought all aquarium items were fish friendly. First time I've heard of the paint coming off, has anyone else experienced this, interesting to know? Caper
