The Great White Hand
Hi I thought something was up (the pair darkened in colour, were all over each other and moved the other discus to the far corner and organised the smaller fish into schoals), my awesome 11cm checkerboard (from Redwood) and my little blue turq have paired up and layed and fertilised eggs on the filter intake. I'm pleased because the blue turq was unwell for a while, so I hope this means it is feeling better? I imagine they won't survive in the community tank? Am I correct in assuming they find the tank conditions good? Regards, TGWH
jolliolli
Congrats , are you going to try and raise the eggs? I suspect the pair will have a hard time guarding the eggs at night with the other fish in the tank. Would be great to see some pics
slevin12
you could leave the light on at night so they can fend off other fish
