Lyn1
Oh they have gone and done it again, about two weeks ago they layed a fair few eggs on our shark filter....................Woke up the next morning to find them all gone Today they are at it again, once again on the filter. Oh everybody keep ya fins crossed that we get some bubby fish this time. I have absolutely no idea of what to do, understand that Angels can get to be good parents, so hope they watch the eggs a little more closely this time or may they have eaten them? Hmmmmmmmmmm Any hints tips ect would be great as I am not experienced at what I should feed them even.
Pegasus
Hi Lyn, They really need to be on their own if you want to increase the chances of them raising the fry. Angels are pretty funny, and can devour eggs at the slightest disturbance, while others will let you do a full clean up with no probs. Often they "don't get it right" the first few times, but more often than not they will care for the eggs and even have two broods going at the same time. Hope they hatch, as they are a joy to watch, no matter how many times you see it.
Lyn1
Thanks wish I could seperate them but don't have a second tank. I could kick myself as we had a little 40 litre tank all set up with goldfish and minnows in it. Kev bought me the new tank and I went and sold the other lock stock and barrel for 30 dollars. Cripes I have an feeling this hobby is going to grow in size LOL
