minchton
Recently I have seen a couple of fish rooms using a common filtration water supply. I am considering doing the same thing in my fishroom but every time I mention it I am reminded of the risk of a disease in one tank going through the lot. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated thanks Mitch
Matthew
If you are going to do it, and are worried about the risk use a UV steriliser, and run all your water through that. So long as the flow rate is slow enough it will kill most bugs. It also kills floating algae spores, so if you want to keep algae eaters there won't be a lot of food for them.
