Fishkeepa
Heya everyone I am considering redoing my tank and changing it for something new. I really like malawi cichlids. could i have a 3 foot tank with a few malawis in it. Or if i really wanted would i be better going for tanganyikans as they are smaller. Thanks

ryanjury
You could do demasoni 29gal is about 100litres.. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t =154128&highlight=demasoni Or you could do a pair of pulcher or jullies or something like that, when I get around to it ill have my pair of Jullies on one side of a divided 100litres tank and a pair of pulchers (depending on how they get on when they eventually grow up) on the other.. ryanjury
If you did decide to do demasoni let me know I will have a heap and we are planning a trip to wellington in the future Heres some reading for you, the main thing to remember with demasoni is to have at least 12 they have a rep for being nasty but it is only when people house less than 12 they do any damage.. I did try and get less and they wiped each other out. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/p_demasoni.php http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/view ... p?t=155356 http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/view ... t=demasoni http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/view ... t=demasoni http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/view ... t=demasoni
