MarkLB
Hi all. I was transfering a female Peacock into a nursery tank a few weeks ago and she dropped this half developed egg. I thought it might be interesting to some to see a pic.
ryanjury
Nice pic, I haven't had much success tumbling them from that size yet seems to be a bit of an art, I usually stick the fish and egg's they drop in a bowl and leave them alone hopefully they pick them up again, lol did it twice to a poor demasoni, stripped her a week ago they were egg's she took them up, forgot when I stripped her caught her again the other day and they were like your pic so she took them up again haha this time ill leave her Are these the maileri your breeding Mark? MarkLB
I transfer the mothers into their own tank and leave them to spit in their own time. The egg in the pic was scooped up within an hour. Are these the maileri your breeding Mark? Yeah they are. I've got two broods in a grow out tank. The oldest (17) are 25-30mm and they younger ones (22) are around 15mm.
