nicmack
I have stripped out the plants from my aqua one 620 and all over the glass (an i mean all over!) are these tiny little sucky things that look like baby snails, any suggestionsfor getting rid of them without hurting the fishies? Gannet
depending on the size of ur tank. 620? is this an AR-620, from aqua one... if so i would get a dwaf chain loach, wont get 2 big but will still eat snails

nicmack
clown loaches would get to big for that type of tank wouldn't they?
Gannet
thats right... thats also why i said the dwaf chain loach as it stays small
vippy
I found that my loaches preferred eating the bubba snails, or at least the smaller ones.
michael.qian
are they trumpet snails? loaches don't usually eat certain trumpet snails because of the shape of the shell, not sure of the details but the shell prevents the actual meaty snail from being sucked out. nicmack
they are itty bitty allyou can see on the glass is a tiny tiny sucker type thing no real shell to speak of yet...
michael.qian
if they are still very small loaches will probably help, their shell will be soft and easy to break.
Ianab
If you are getting loaches, get several. They are a social fish and like to live in groups. The dwarf chain loaches or zebra loaches are good choices for a smaller tank. They will all eat small snails, and you can catch the bigger ones by hand Cheers Ian
