SpidersWeb
I forget   what are gba's??? L144 Golden Black Eyed Ancistrus sp. or to most people 'golden bristlenose' and to other people 'one of those yellow catfish things'. Pawz' GBA is a female, which is why there isn't any bristles. Nice pics Pawz Impressive male BN you have there.

Are all female bristlenose catfish bristle free?...heh, just like men/women 8) Caper
Dixon1990
Wont that male BN breed with that female gba?
SpidersWeb
Are all female bristlenose catfish bristle free?...heh, just like men/women 8) haha, yeah only males get the big bristles, but some females can have short little bristles around the edges. My largest gba female has some little spikey bits. Wont that male BN breed with that female gba? Yes, but I'd wager if she has bigger female black BN, they'd get first pick. If they did I'd expect 100% black off spring, and if crossed with each other, their offspring would be 75% black 25% golden etc etc usual weak gene scenario. Pawz
yes there is a big female blk bn and they breed. I have baby bn in there at the mo. Yes they are all in the same tank. The GBA is only 3.5cm so shes only little. My camera is a Canon A400. Couple of years old but still works great. The cat sleeps in the dish wash basket. Hes so naughty.
