jayci
Been thinking about setting up a DIY co2 system. But I am wondering how much co2 needs to be added. Can there be to much? Looking at doing it to a 54ltr tank. I have heard of bubble counter, but don't know what they look like. And I am too cheap to buy one. Ideas please

natscat
Hi Jayci, You can have too much C02 in a tank, yes. To be honest with you ive never used a counter as i usually do a lot of testing when i'm setting them up and then just leave them to it. Just a tip, don't bother buying those expensive difusors, just use a powerhead. Good Luck
jayci
Thanks for the tip, Natscap. If I where to count the bubbles with my eye, How many bubbles per min or per second should I start off with?
HaNs
I read that it should be 1-2 bubbles per sec Here's a good site that i use http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_co2chart.htm
