mitch
just got a new tank but where does the light cord suppose to be sitting? Does it come out the side or go under the filter?
Matt
Hi Mitch, I have my light cord going out the side, between the filter and the light unit. Cheers, Matt

mitch
i thought about that, so you dont find the water running along the power cord?
wagonman
no just dont have any slack in it, i don't fill mine right to the top (find there aint enough water movement if i do) so there is a good 5mm gap between the water and base of filter. plus i have a loop in the cord so if water does run down it, it wont get to the plug. jn
I don't know if the 620 is the same but mine came out of the box with the light cord running from the light through the channel on the filter section behind it (over the pump) and out the back. To get it out the back I have to open the lid on the filter unit and then squeeze it through between the lid and the back of the filter unit. This was awkward at first but once you know how to apply the pressure to the right spot it slips right in. (so the cord comes out at the same place as the pump cord does)
